My car was totalled after someone hit it while it was sitting in my driveway. The claims adjuster came out to get an estimate of the damage and I was given a rental for one week. It took them 3 to get my check mailed to me. I asked for an extension on the rental and Darren the total loss guy yelled at me for asking. He was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. So when I did receive my check, Enterprise automatically deducted their charges and I had absolutely no money left. It was a completely waste of time and National General is a joke. Their customer service is awful!

The records review department apparently can only read one word per day, because it has taken over a year and a half, and they are again requesting records that they have in their possession. They keep telling me "it's still under review, we asked for more records. they have had all of my records since October of 2018, confirmed by their own office. I cannot get a straight answer from anyone and all of my medical bills that they are responsible for have now gone to collections, which has completely ruined my credit. They haven't even paid the first medical bill with a primary physician office visit to get a physical. There should be no need for review on that bill. But they refuse to pay.

I too was swindled into purchasing a "LOT" four 3 month plans from National General back in March of 2017. At the end of the first 3 month plan, they had not paid any of the claims sent to them. I therefore cancelled...

I’ve worked in the insurance business for 5 years now and I worked for big companies yet none of them compare to the excellent customer service and support I’ve received from National General of Monroe, NC. I was able to save over $100 bucks a month and they were able to match the same coverages and limits. I’m extremely happy with the company and would recommend to anyone looking for affordable insurance.

My truck was also stolen and they are trying to deny my claim over some nonsense. I have full coverage. I have complained to the bbb and nc dept of insurance
