A CRITICAL CARE POLICY THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE IN PLACE TO COVER OUR FRIEND AND EMPLOYEE IN NEED IS STILL ON GOING ….IT IS 7 MONTHS LATER AND FAMILY IS STILL WAITING FOR A DECISION? (LAST COMMENT: JUST GIVE US A LITTLE MORE TIME) WELL, HIS TIME ON EARTH IS NOW GONE!

CLYDE SINCE THEN HAS PASSED AWAY OF CANCER AND EVERYONE IS STILL GETTING THE RUN AROUND AFTER EMAILING, FAXING, AND SENDING THROUGH THE MAIL HUNDREDS OF PAGES AND 600 PAGES OF MEDICAL RECORDS, ALL FORMS FILLED OUT AND COMPLETED! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME.

HE HAS MET EVERY SINGLE REQUIREMENT AND DESERVED THIS, PAPERWORK CONF Sad IRMED IN NOTES)

THE ORIGINAL REP TOLD US ONLY THE POLICY HOLDER COULD CANCEL A POLICY, CANCEL A PAYMENT, OR THEY COULD SEND AN EMAIL TO HIM. (AFTER LEETING THEM KNOW HE HAD PASSED AWAY FROM CANCER)

VERY DISSAPOINTING AND SAD FOR HIM AND HIS BENEFICIARY (HIS MOM) Sad Sad

Product or Service Mentioned: National General Insurance Claim.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $25.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

National General Insurance Pros: Only 1 rep was helpful and tried.

National General Insurance Cons: 7 months and still no payment made to family, Lost original paperwork sent to them by mail, Told no email or fax existed at first and rep was rude, Finally emailed and faxed hundreds of pages, Critical care policy was suppose to pay while living.

10 months an still no payment after now supposedly approved. No check still.

Said “call back after another 30 days”. Reported to state insurance commissioner.

As a company, we helped him with expenses. His home is now in default and the family is trying to negotiate a settlement on the home.

No money can replace him. But, it was the fact it was there to help in his time of need.

This is truly disappointing knowing it is such a struggle to get what is owed and so time consuming.

The average policy holder does not have the time to keep up with all the paperwork and statuses. 7 months later and no decision made to pay.
